GrandArrival meets you at the pier, sets a plan you can actually finish before all aboard, and gets you back with time to spare. What is included

Every cruise port booking includes pierside pickup with a sign, bottled water in the vehicle, a plan that respects your all aboard time with a real buffer, and a direct return to your ship. Beach stops, tour narration along the way, shopping stops in Charlotte Amalie, and grocery or supply stops can all be added. Beach fees, activity tickets, and gratuities are separate. We do not stack unrelated parties into one vehicle. If you booked private, the ride is private.

How booking works

Book ahead so we can hold the vehicle for your ship day.

1. Call or text +1 (340) 227 7903, or email [email protected] with your ship name, arrival and all aboard times, and what you would like to do in port.
2. Confirm the plan: an airport transfer for disembarking guests, a beach and shopping day, a private tour, or a custom itinerary.
3. Receive a written confirmation with a pickup point at Havensight or Crown Bay.

No deposit is required. Pay by Visa, Mastercard, most major cards, debit, or cash before, during, or after the ride. Cancel or change with at least 24 hours notice at no charge.

Rates

Cruise port rates are quoted per plan because ship day itineraries vary. A one way transfer from Havensight to Magens Bay is a very different rate from a multi stop tour with a beach break. Send us the ship, the time in port, and what you would like to see, and we will send a clear number rather than a range.

Ashore

Local knowledge

St. Thomas has two cruise piers, and knowing which one you are on shapes the whole day. Havensight, also called the West Indian Company Dock, is the larger pier and the closer of the two to downtown Charlotte Amalie, about 1.2 miles from the town center with the shopping village at the base of the gangway. Crown Bay, the pier used on bigger sailing days, sits about 1.5 miles from Cyril E. King Airport, with fewer shops but a quicker escape to Frenchtown, the airport, or the North Side.

A few reliable half day plans for cruise guests:

• Magens Bay half day. Pickup at the pier, a scenic ride over the ridge, a long stretch on the sand, and straight back to the ship. The day use fee at the Magens Bay gate is not included.
• Island highlights loop. Pickup at the pier, up to Drake's Seat and Mountain Top, down to Magens Bay for a quick swim, and back through Charlotte Amalie.
• Snorkel run to Coki Point. Out to the East End, snorkel and beach time, and back. Coki is loud and fun and easy for first time snorkelers.
• Shopping in Charlotte Amalie. Havensight is close, but the walk in the heat can wear a family down. A quick ride into town and back is often the small luxury that saves the day.

We plan every cruise day around your ship's departure time with a generous buffer before all aboard. That is not caution for its own sake. It is respect for how quickly downtown can slow on a busy port day. And one tip from the owner if you only have a few hours on the island: choose a private tour, so you can maximize your time on the places that interest you most instead of following a fixed group schedule. Where do we meet at Havensight or Crown Bay?

Your driver meets you just outside the secured cruise terminal exit at either pier. We send clear meeting instructions before your arrival and can hold a personalized name sign if you would like one. If you cannot spot us, call or text +1 (340) 227 7903 and we will find you.

What if our ship arrives late?

We track the port arrival board. If your ship is late, we adjust. If it is very late, we can shift to a shorter plan on the fly so you still see something and still make all aboard.

Can you take us to the airport if we are disembarking today?

Yes. Same day disembarkation transfers to Cyril E. King Airport are a common booking. Reserve ahead if you can, because peak sailing days fill up.

How much luggage can you carry on a disembarkation day?

The GMC Yukon XL Denali fits four guests with a full set of bags. The executive van fits larger groups and more luggage. Tell us the total bag count when you book.

Is Magens Bay entry included in a beach transfer?

No. Magens Bay charges a small day use fee at the gate that guests pay themselves. We are happy to stop at the gate on the way in.

Do we tip the driver?

Gratuities are not included and are always appreciated. There is no set amount. Whatever feels right for the service is welcome.

Can we make several stops in one booking?

Yes. Multi stop cruise days are our specialty. Share your priorities when you book and we will build a route that hits them and gets you back to the ship on time.
