What is included

Every airport transfer includes a live flight watch, a meet and greet at the designated passenger pickup area just outside baggage claim, a personalized name sign if you would like one, help with luggage, bottled water in the vehicle, and a direct ride to your destination. Child seats and booster seats can be arranged when you book. Larger parties can move to the air conditioned executive van, and groups traveling with beach gear can ride the open air safari bus for a more spirited arrival. We do not stack strangers into shared vans. Your reservation is private from the curb at Cyril E. King to your door.

How booking works

Booking is intentionally simple.

There is no deposit. Pay before, during, or after the ride using Visa, Mastercard, most major cards, debit, or cash. If your plans change, give us 24 hours notice to change or cancel at no charge. Once a ride has begun or the service is complete, the fare is due.

Local knowledge

Cyril E. King Airport sits on the south side of St. Thomas, about a mile and a half from Crown Bay and roughly four and a quarter miles from the Havensight cruise pier. Red Hook, on the far East End, is a cross island drive whose pace is set by traffic through Charlotte Amalie. Great Bay and the East End resorts sit a similar distance out.

Cruise weeks change everything. When several ships are in at Havensight or Crown Bay, downtown Charlotte Amalie can slow to a crawl through the middle of the day. If you are catching a St. John ferry, we build extra time into the plan so you catch the boat you intended, not the one after. Sailing rather than flying? For guests heading to St. John, we time your pickup to the Red Hook to Cruz Bay passenger ferry, which runs from early morning until late in the evening. What happens if my flight is delayed?

We monitor flight arrivals throughout the day, so if your flight runs late we adjust your pickup time at no additional charge. If your flight is diverted or canceled, text us as soon as you know and we will reschedule your ride.

How long is the drive from Cyril E. King Airport?

Charlotte Amalie and Frenchtown are about 10 to 15 minutes. Bolongo Bay is about 20 minutes. Red Hook and the St. John ferry run about 30 to 35 minutes, and the East End resorts near the Ritz Carlton are about 35 minutes. Cruise day traffic through downtown can add time, and we plan your pickup around it.

Do you offer child car seats?

Yes, child seats and booster seats can be arranged when you book. Please tell us the age and weight of the child so we bring the right seat.

Is a deposit required?

No. There is no deposit and no card on file. You can pay before, during, or after your ride by card or cash.

How much luggage can you carry?

The GMC Yukon XL Denali comfortably fits four guests with a full set of checked and carry on bags. Larger groups can use the executive van. Tell us how many bags you have when you book and we will match the vehicle to the load.

Do you drop guests directly at their St. John villa?

Yes. We drive to Red Hook, meet you on the St. John side after the ferry, and take you to your Cruz Bay area address. The $230 rate for one to four guests covers the St. Thomas leg and the St. John leg. Ferry tickets are separate.

Can you pick up at odd hours?

Yes. We are available 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Late night arrivals and pre dawn departures are routine.

One tip from the owner for a first visit to St. Thomas: relax and enjoy the scenery, and remember that we drive on the left side of the road here. Booking your transportation ahead of time makes your arrival much smoother.
