Airport to Grande Bay Resort, St. John

Grande Bay Resort sits at the edge of Cruz Bay just along the shoreline from the ferry dock, close enough that the last leg of this journey is the easiest on St. John. GrandArrival handles the long part: pickup at the Cyril E. King passenger area, the cross island drive to Red Hook timed to a specific boat, and coordination on the Cruz Bay side for the short hop to the resort. Once you are settled, town is at your feet, with the restaurants and shops of Cruz Bay a short stroll away. The rate follows our published St. John tier of $230 for one to four guests, with $40 for each additional guest, and ferry tickets stay separate.

The ride

The journey has two legs. First the cross island drive from Cyril E. King to the Red Hook ferry terminal, timed to a specific boat with room to buy tickets. Then the short crossing to Cruz Bay, with the ride continuing on the St. John side. We watch your flight and keep a cushion for cruise day traffic through Charlotte Amalie.

The black GMC Yukon XL Denali comfortably fits four guests with a full set of checked and carry on bags. Larger parties move to the air conditioned executive van so the whole group rides together.

Every ride includes a live flight watch, a meet and greet at the designated passenger pickup area just outside baggage claim with your name on a sign, help with luggage, bottled water in the vehicle, and a direct arrival at Grande Bay. The rate

Grande Bay is a St. John destination, so the ride follows our published airport to St. John rate, which covers the ground plan on both sides of the crossing.

Are ferry tickets included in the rate?

No. Ferry tickets and any resort boat fares are separate and are sold by the operators. Our rate covers the private ground transportation, luggage included, and we drop you at the terminal with time to buy tickets and board calmly.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight from wheels up and adjust the plan, including the ferry timing. There is no rebooking fee for airline delays. If your flight is diverted or canceled, text us as soon as you know and we will rebuild the plan.
